Nikola Tesla's Vision of Peace and Prosperity:

How We Can Have United Global Enlightenment,

Via Worldwide Wireless Electricity and Communication

By Alexander Eric Wilson

Submitted March 15, 2006 as term research paper for The Evergreen State College program Consuming Utopia: From Wilderness to WalMart

Tesla on War and Peace:

``War cannot be avoided until the physical cause for its recurrence is removed and this, in the last analysis, is the vast extent of the planet on which we live. Only through annihilation of distance in every respect, as the conveyance of intelligence, transport of passengers and supplies and transmission of energy will conditions be brought about some day, insuring permanency of friendly relations. What we now want is closer contact and better understanding between individuals and communities all over the earth, and the elimination of egoism and pride which is always prone to plunge the world into primeval barbarism and strife... Peace can only come as a natural consequence of universal enlightenment...''

The science of doing good”

Nikola Tesla wrote, "An inventor’s endeavour is essentially life saving. Whether he harnesses forces, improves devices, or provides new comforts and conveniences, he is adding to the safety of our existence."[2] Steven Mintz wrote about “the science of doing good”, that is, discovering the underlying causes of social ills, and eliminating those causes, so that the societal ills vanish. Some specific ills Mintz addressed are poverty and ignorance. A primary solution put forth by post civil war American reformers, as Mintz writes, was the public education system. [13]

As Nikola Tesla realized a hundred years ago, inexpensive, easy global communication for all helps to combat ignorance, and in combating ignorance, easy, inexpensive global communication brings us closer to world peace. As he also realized, inexpensive, easy access to electrical power, for all, allows for warmth and light where it is cold and dark, or air conditioning where it is too hot. Electrical power also helps make possible a reduction in the amount of personal energy individuals put forth to produce food and other things. Adding safety and comfort to the lives of those who lack these is a direct reduction of poverty.

As Paul Hollander states, there are things individuals can do to improve the world’s environmental security. Some things Hollander suggests include supporting programs that help developing nations achieve affluence, educating yourself, educating others, particularly in developing nations, supporting a global communications network, and eliminating wasteful and inefficient use of resources.[14] Environmental security and world peace go hand in hand: Neither people nor environment is safe during war. Also, there can be no lasting peace without a healthy ecosystem vibrant enough to provide food and essential resources for the amount of people that depend upon it. The reason put forth by Thomas Malthus[15] and echoed by Jared Diamond[16], is that when population explodes faster than food or other resource production can keep up with, competition for life necessities becomes destructive to people and environment. In an unhealthy ecosystem with a growing population, the ecosystem is damaged further by those who those who attempt to force the land to produce more than it can. Eventually it produces nothing, for nutritional value has been depleted. Resources controlled by wealthy people, and the wealthy people themselves, become very tempting targets in the midst of starving multitudes.

In fostering affluence, which as Hollander states, can lead to enlightenment and to improved efficiency in production, Tesla believed that his plan would benefit humanity immensely. A financially elite establishment prevented Tesla’s plan for global enlightenment from achieving fruition during his lifetime. People initially ignored much of Tesla's work and publishing, deeming his results impossible, without consideration. Nevertheless, Tesla did succeed in getting society to adopt many of his inventions. He was initially ridiculed for the supposed impossibility of many devices, including the AC motor, which one of his teachers called impossible when he suggested the idea.[6] As suggested by the title of Margaret Cheney's biography Man Out of Time, Tesla was way ahead of his time, or rather, the world was not ready for him yet.[10] Tesla himself said that a time will come when humanity is ready, and then his dream will be made a reality. Implementing some of Tesla’s century old plans today, in 2006, would vastly improve our existing network(s) of communication and energy. Humanity will gain many, many benefits by using Tesla's plans.

Everything is spinning! Everything is moving! Everywhere is energy! Everything is music!

During a lecture before the American Institute of Electrical Engineers, at Columbia College, N.Y., May 20, 1891, Nikola Tesla said, “We are whirling through endless space with an inconceivable speed, all around us everything is spinning, everything is moving, everywhere is energy. There must be some way of availing ourselves of this energy more directly.”[1]

The basis of Tesla’s work is his study of resonance, magnetic and electrical phenomena.
As he said, “A distant object in resonance can be thrown
into a strong vibration whereas a much nearer object
not in resonance will not be affected.”

“Tesla pursued his studies of mechanical vibrations in many directions. His was almost a virgin field for scientific research. Scarcely any [widely known] fundamental research had been done in the field since Pythagoras 2500 years earlier.”(O'Neill p158)

Forms, such as stones, though appearing solid, are mostly empty space. Our perception is of wave patterns amongst moving particles. We may apply music theory regarding relationships between frequencies to all matter and energy.

At a time when few people could comprehend the new wonders of the inventor's Alternating Current, Tesla envisioned: radio, television, X-rays, remote-control, lasers, robots, computer logic, and wireless electricity. Our existing method of transmitting AC power long distances through wires is another discovery patented by Nikola Tesla.[5]

Tesla's plan for free electricity and wireless communications

One of the most important inventions of Nikola Tesla was the electrical transmitter.[3] Wardenclyffe Tower, basically a giant electrical transmitter, was constructed between 1900-1905 on Long Island, NY. The tower stood 187 feet, with a 68 foot metal dome. A 'Magnifying Transmitter,' Wardenclyffe Tower could tap into Earth's Electro-Magnetic fields. The omnipresent energy of our planet can be harnessed and magnified in a controlled manner. Wardenclyffe was intended to transmit information to any part of the globe without wires, and provide free energy to the entire world.

With the tower operative, anyone on the planet could receive power through an antenna, like TV and radio signals. Energy could be withdrawn in unlimited amounts for unlimited uses, free for all the world's people! Any person anywhere on the earth, with an antenna, would be able to use the waves broadcast by Wardenclyffe Tower for heat, powering electrical devices, and also to access the worldwide communications network. "When he combined radio and AC Current. Tesla made obsolete his new, revolutionary methods of AC power generation and transmission and by an incredible quantum leap!"[9]

-How it works and why it's better

Tesla confirmed through experimentation that the Earth conducts electricity, much like a metal ball. Tesla hypothesized that Earth could be charged from a single location by waves generated from solar, wind, water or any other source of natural, renewable energy. The electromotive force of the planet itself spinning or moving through space creates a tremendous electrical potential between ground and ionosphere. A tower from deep in the ground to within the ionosphere has current which may be amplified, and then transmitted with timing such that it creates a worldwide standing waves of electrical power.

Our polyphase AC power transmission methods, in 2006, require expensive and unsightly wires to be strewn about the landscape, strung along towers made of metal, and then along poles made of trees. In this, polyphase AC is no better than what came before, Edison's DC power transmission through wires. However, polyphase AC transmission allows very high efficiency energy transfer over hundreds of miles of wires, while DC transmitted over wires is dramatically less efficient, reaching only to about a mile from its point of generation.

“The concept [of free energy] was based on a simple concept that the Earth is always spinning, creating friction in the universe. This friction creates electricity in the ionosphere that we call lightning or electrical storms. So energy and electricity didn't need to be produced by work or application of energy which relied upon a constant source.” [18]

We would gain many benefits by implementing Tesla's plan for free electricity and wireless communications today. If Tesla's plans are implemented it becomes

"possible that electrical power could be received very high in the atmosphere; up to the ionosphere. Electricity would seem to appear out of thin air; anywhere...at the bottom of the ocean or high upon mountains or on islands or at any point in the most remote regions. With a working network of power towers circling the planet, the lifeblood of Utopia is established. Power would be received through antennas; in vehicles, on roofs, etc., that tap into the wireless power grid. A network of power towers complete the grid and electrify the planet.”[9]

-What if Tesla's plan for free electricity and wireless communications

had prevailed 100 years ago?

A World Power Network Grid around the planet would tend to shrink the Earth and annihilate distance. There would be free phone calls. There would be free World Television. There would be an eternal fountain of power anywhere; all the electricity we could ever use. The computer age of today is NOTHING compared to what could have been...if the human race went another way in the early part of the 20th Century.

The success of Wardenclyffe would have changed the world and improved the planet a billion times over!

The End of Wardenclyffe is possibly the greatest turning point in the course of modern, human history!! It was a super devolutionary slide DOWNHILL.... "[9]

All the coal burning, smog producing, dam building, inefficient, expensive power production methods could have been avoided, if in 1905 humanity had harnessed omnipresent energy using Tesla's system as envisioned at Wardenclyffe.

Undreamed of therapeutic applications to improve human health and to eliminate disease conditions could have been achieved fully 100 years ago had Tesla been allowed to complete his commercial development of Radiant Energy. “[12]

"There is the actual possibility of the unifying of races, nationalities and differences of cultures. With free and easy planetary communications, such as World Television, people might think of themselves as 'one-worlders.' A global community could unify the people of Earth. Besides the incredible, wireless hardware and machines of this New Age...Tesla's World System of Tomorrow promotes peaceful relations between countries. Wars could be made obsolete. In its place would exist a World-Oneness.

Our heightened technology would have drastically raised our consciousness. There could have been another path traveled where there were NO WORLD WARS! Humanity did not have to be plunged into wars somewhere on the planet decade after decade. Technology could have solved the problems of conflict, greed and chaos. People should have had and presently have a much higher standard of Life. We have all been robbed of a technical, material paradise and very few people are aware of it.”[9]

Foiled by monopolistic greed of rapscallions!

How greed driven market forces have delayed real human progress

"The only point in making money is, you can tell some big shot where to go." -Humphrey Bogart

"Lack of money is the root of all evil." -George Bernard Shaw

“Tesla's patents for electrical generators and motors were granted in the late 1880's. During the 1890's the large electric power industry, in the form of Westinghouse and General Electric, came into being. With tens of millions of dollars invested in plants and equipment, the industry was not about to abandon a very profitable ten year old technology for yet another new one.” [19]

As the Nearings said, "Ideas of making money... have given people a perverted view of economic principles."[4] Tesla's plan for the construction of Wardenclyffe was financed and then foiled by J.P. Morgan, who stood to profit (short term), from maintaining entrenched technology. Morgan funded initial building costs, thinking that he was financing a simple transmitter for radio messages. Ironically, J.P. could have gained a worldwide communications monopoly at the dawn of the communications age, and leveraged this for far greater long-term profits, if he had not been so short-sighted.

Morgan had previously funded the Niagara Falls power project, using designs made by Tesla, despite Thomas Edison's outrage over this fact. There was a “War of the Currents”, for control of the future of electricity, in which Westinghouse prevailed over Edison and General Electric, with Tesla's AC designs. Edison and his financiers despised Tesla, and did everything they could to give him a bad name.

When Marconi had his highly publicized first success with radio transmission across the Atlantic, Morgan was angered with Tesla, for he had already paid Tesla for a 51% share of Tesla's patent rights, and was concerned that Marconi would gobble up the market for radio communication.

Tesla told Morgan not to worry, because Marconi was using sixteen or seventeen of Tesla's patented methods in his design.

Tesla filed his own basic radio patent applications in 1897. They were granted in 1900. Marconi's first patent application in America, filed on November 10, 1900, was turned down. Marconi's revised applications over the next three years were repeatedly rejected because of the priority of Tesla and other inventors.

The Patent Office made the following comment in 1903:

Many of the claims are not patentable over Tesla patent numbers 645,576 and 649,621, of record, the amendment to overcome said references as well as Marconi's pretended ignorance of the nature of a "Tesla oscillator" being little short of absurd... the term "Tesla oscillator" has become a household word on both continents [Europe and North America].

But no patent is truly safe, as Tesla's career demonstrates. In 1900, the Marconi Wireless Telegraph Company, Ltd. began thriving in the stock markets—due primarily to Marconi's family connections with English aristocracy. British Marconi stock soared from $3 to $22 per share and the glamorous young Italian nobleman was internationally acclaimed. Both Edison and Andrew Carnegie invested in Marconi and Edison became a consulting engineer of American Marconi. Then, on December 12, 1901, Marconi for the first time transmitted and received signals across the Atlantic Ocean.

Otis Pond, an engineer then working for Tesla, said, "Looks as if Marconi got the jump on you." Tesla replied, "Marconi is a good fellow. Let him continue. He is using seventeen of my patents."

But Tesla's calm confidence was shattered in 1904, when the U.S. Patent Office suddenly and surprisingly reversed its previous decisions and gave Marconi a patent for the invention of radio. The reasons for this have never been fully explained, but the powerful financial backing for Marconi in the United States suggests one possible explanation.

Tesla was embroiled in other problems at the time, but when Marconi won the Nobel Prize in 1911, Tesla was furious. He sued the Marconi Company for infringement in 1915, but was in no financial condition to litigate a case against a major corporation. It wasn't until 1943—a few months after Tesla's death— that the U.S. Supreme Court upheld Tesla's radio patent number 645,576. The Court had a selfish reason for doing so. The Marconi Company was suing the United States Government for use of its patents in World War I. The Court simply avoided the action by restoring the priority of Tesla's patent over Marconi.”[22]

Since Marconi's success was a bit of a spoiler for Morgan, Tesla also told him at this time of the greater potential of Wardenclyffe tower; energy for all humanity, along with communications. Morgan said, "Free power for everyone? Just be in the business of selling antennas? I'm not feeling that charitable!" Wardenclyffe Tower was never completed. Morgan refused Tesla funds necessary to complete construction. Finding alternate financing proved impossible, as any other potential backers were scared off the project because Morgan had withdrawn backing. Also, some thought Nikola Tesla was crazy because newspapers reported that Tesla believed radio waves he detected from space might be generated by intelligent life, and also reported on his rumored psychic abilities, and some strange habits of personality that today are observable in folks with obsessive compulsive tendencies. All in all, for financiers, Wardenclyffe seemed too shaky a proposition to attract financial support, once Morgan withdrew his backing. The nearly completed Tower at Wardenclyffe was dismantled for scrap metal and the land was sold.

..powerful barons of industry, chiefly in the person of John Pierpont Morgan, colluded to deny him the financial backing he needed and in doing so, effectively denied mankind one of Nature’s most abundant and inexhaustible gifts of free energy.

Morgan was chiefly concerned with turning a profit from overseas radio transmissions since Marconi was fast locking up the market and Morgan, ever the aggressor, wanted a share of the market. When Tesla told him that the transmitter could transmit “intelligence” to the world, Morgan assumed that he meant ordinary radio communications, but Tesla was not referring to ordinary radio transmissions. He was talking about something much bigger, but avoided revealing all to Morgan during this early phase of the Wardenclyffe project. Some considerable time later, Tesla eventually felt compelled to tell Morgan the larger possibilities offered by the Magnifying Transmitter when he needed more funding to complete the project. Tesla thought that Morgan would be overwhelmed by his expanded explanation of the true capacities of the transmitter and would be anxious to complete the work, but Tesla’s assumption had backfired and Morgan refused to lay out any more money for the transmitter. Sadly, the enormous benefits that could have been made available to society by Tesla’s Magnifying Transmitter project, died then and there.

Morgan & Westinghouse

Morgan had already orchestrated circumstances in Tesla’s life in order to force Tesla to be dependent on him for financial backing. During an earlier period, when Tesla himself had millions from his Polyphase AC generator royalty payments and other earnings, Morgan wanted to woo Tesla with a deal that effectively gave Morgan majority control over his patent rights and projects, but Tesla turned him down, telling Morgan that he had enough money of his own to fund his projects. While returning to his hotel from that very meeting with Morgan, however, Tesla was told that his laboratory had been burned to the ground. It represented a tremendous loss to Tesla and it shook him deeply. Everyone, of course, felt convinced that Morgan was behind the arson. In order to save face, Morgan was embarrassed by Tesla into putting up the money to pay for the rebuilding of a new lab as an act of “philanthropy”. From that time forward, however, other financial backers were not to be found. Morgan was powerful enough to black list Tesla among the Eastern Establishment elites that previously had hobnobbed and feted with Tesla as if he was one of their own. Black listing and ostracization by officialdom and financiers lifted somewhat after Morgan’s death, but generally continued to haunt Tesla for the rest of his life.”[12]

The story is frequently told that when Morgan found out from Tesla that the true purpose of the Wardenclyffe transmitter was to provide free electricity to the world, he abruptly pulled the funding. That’s not completely accurate. The economic conditions were recessionary at the time and the stock market had taken a considerable dip that year. Morgan wasn’t interested in risking any more capital in perilous times on a project he couldn’t fully fathom and wasn’t completely convinced of. Tesla held land ownership of the Wardenclyffe site and tower, but no further work was done after 1910. In 1914, Tesla was deeply in debt and signed over the deed of Wardenclyffe Station to pay off years of back rent due to the owners of the New Yorker Hotel where he was living (he occupied two penthouse suites in the hotel). In 1917, the hotel owners had the tower demolished and its parts sold for salvage. Despite the loss of Wardenclyffe, Tesla continued to refine his understanding of Radiant Energy and miniaturize the equipment needed to produce it. He eventually was able to reduce the equipment down to the size of a suit case. "[12]

There are several ways that Nikola Tesla could himself have been a very wealthy individual by 1905. Most notably, if he had retained royalty rights for horsepower generated by Westinghouse, using Tesla's AC motors. Westinghouse company was using patents belonging to Nikola Tesla, to supply AC power to the United States. George Westinghouse had personally agreed to pay Nikola Tesla royalties of $1 or $2.50 (accounts vary in the amount) per horsepower of electricity sold. When royalties reached twelve million dollars, the financial backers of Westinghouse told George he must get rid of the royalty agreement, or it would bankrupt the company. Tesla relinquished his claim on past royalties. Thus, the Westinghouse company could go on, and Tesla lost vast sums of money.[8]

Before the turn of the century, Tesla also willingly gave up millions, perhaps billions, in royalty earnings to George Westinghouse in an unprecedented act of friendship. Westinghouse had believed in the superiority of Tesla’s AC system and provided the money to build Tesla’s big AC generators at Niagra Falls, NY. Tesla was paid millions up front for his patents, but was also due to receive royalty earnings for every kilowatt of power produced. When Westinghouse ran into financial difficulties at a later date, Tesla tore up his royalty contract in order to save Westinghouse from financial ruin. Had he not done that, Tesla would have had enough money from royalties to keep him ensconced in great wealth for the rest of his life.”[12]

By giving up his AC patent royalties, Tesla denied himself the ability to fund his future work, such as Wardenclyffe Tower. Tesla did not think there would ever be a shortage of funding for his scientific investigations, because of the great potential benefit to humanity in his work. It was Morgan's willful decision though, that led to much avoidable sorrow for many, including Tesla, who was heartbroken by the failure of society to adopt his system. Nikola Tesla died on Jan. 7, 1943 in relative obscurity. He could have been very wealthy from royalties on his radio patents, if things had gone a little differently. On June 21, 1943, the United States Supreme Court reversed an earlier decision in favor of Marconi and ruled that Nicola Tesla holds the fundamental patents making him the father of our modern radio.[8]

-Conspiracy Theories regarding secret applications of Tesla technology

Many have speculated that the military-corporate-industrial elite have been developing Tesla's inventions. It is said that both the U.S.A. and the U.S.S.R. developed his defensive beam weapon during the cold war.

It was a hundred years ago when such a crucial and pivotal point in our technological (and you could also say spiritual) progress occurred. We went the wrong way! Instead of taking the path of enlightenment and peace...we took the path of fear, hate, war and destruction.”[9]

-Connections to Skull & Bones, Nazis, Bush family, Morgan's connections

“Tesla's Financier J.P. Morgan had the rights to Tesla's Patents and Tesla was always building dozens of new inventions. Well the story goes that when Tesla was building his Tower at Colorado Springs, J.P. Morgan was not clued in as to what it was Tesla was building exactly. When it was finished and Tesla told Morgan that it could supply the world with electricity, Morgan replied "Great, so where do we put the meters?" To which Tesla responded "There are no meters, This is Wireless Free-Electricity" and at that point J.P. Morgan cut off funding to Tesla and had the project buried. J.P. Morgan himself was not the all powerful figure people make him out to be, but there were powerful Freemasons and Skull and Bones members in particular, behind him. The J.P. Morgan bank was controlled more by Harold Stanley, a Skull and Bones member. Today it is called the Morgan-Stanley Bank.”[18]

During the Bush vs. Kerry 2004 presidential election, it came out that both of these men were members of Skull & Bones at Yale. Several sources indicate that amongst Skull & Bones, the members call themselves knights, and refer to the rest of humanity as barbarians. They are said to be a branch of the Illuminati with a start in Germany. It is written that they eat off of Hitler's silverware, and have a room full of swastikas and human skeletal remains in their “crypt”, where they have their meetings.

“It all began at Yale. In 1832, General William Huntington Russell and Alphonso Taft put together a super secret society for the elite children of the Anglo- American Wall Street banking establishment. William Huntington Russell's step-brother Samuel Russell ran "Russell & Co.", the world's largest OPIUM smuggling operation in the world at the time.
Alphonso Taft is the Grandfather of our ex-president Howard Taft, the creator of the Forerunner to the United Nations.
George Bush's father as well as George Bush were and are members of Skull & Bones. A major key figure in Skull & Bones was William Averall Harriman. Pamela Harriman supplied the funds to elect Bill Clinton to office. Harriman was THE major backer of the Democratic Party for over 50 years.
Major players in Skull & Bones have been linked to the financing of both world wars and the creation of many think-tanks and Universities in this country. Bush's father was a major contributor to the "Hitler Project" as well as the build-up of the Soviet Union.
Thus, leading to the inevitable World Wars and the eventual set-up of the United Nations in America.”[21]

Why does that matter? If that is all true it means that there is a concerted effort to mis-educate and cripple the minds of 95+% of society, in order to maintain an elite class, and preserve a place in it.

Other interesting things I've noticed in my poring over sources

-Electrical Fertilizer

"Not the least ingenious of Tesla's great schemes is his invention to fertilise impoverished land by electricity. When Tesla has a company formed to put this invention on the market it will no longer be necessary for the farmer to spend half his year's receipts in purchasing fertilisers. He has only to buy an electric fertiliser of his own, which he can secure for a trifle at the nearest town.

Dumping a few loads of loose earth into the fertiliser, it comes out at the other end, ready to be spread over the surface of the impoverished ground, where it will insure for the following season the luxurious crop of the virgin soil.

The explanation which Mr. Tesla gives of just why so simple a piece of work should be productive of such wonderful results is not difficult to comprehend. " Everyone knows," says he, " that the constituent of a fertiliser which makes the ground productive is its nitrogen. Everybody knows also that nitrogen forms four-fifths of the volume of the atmosphere above that piece of unfertile land. This being the case it occurred to me: 'Where is the sense in the farmer buying expensive nitrogen when he has it free of cost at his own door? All the agriculturist needs is some method by which he can separate some of this nitrogen from the atmosphere above the ground and place it on the surface.' And it was to discover this means that I set to work." As far as the non-technical eye can perceive, the working model of the electric fertiliser consists of nothing but an upright copper cylinder with a removable top, with a spiral coil of wire running throughout the length of the cylinder. Through the bottom of the cylinder are two wires, which connect with a specially constructed dynamo. A quantity of loose earth, treated by a secret chemical preparation in liquid form, is shoveled into the cylinder, an electric current is passed through the confined atmosphere; the oxygen and hydrogen are thus expelled, and the nitrogen which remains is absorbed into the loose earth. There is thus produced as strong a fertiliser for a nominal price at home as it is possible to purchase at a large cost miles and miles away."[11]

-Bucky Fuller connection

Nikola Tesla shared some fundamental ideals with one R. Buckminster Fuller, the visionary, designer, architect, and inventor.
For those of you interested Astrology, that is, the idea that knowledge of positions of planets and constellations can be useful in understanding events on earth, Bucky was born 39 years and 2 days after Tesla, on July 12, 1895 putting them both in the sign of Cancer (June 22 - July 22)

“Throughout his life, Fuller was concerned with the question of whether humanity has a chance to survive lastingly and successfully on planet Earth, and if so, how. Considering himself an average individual without special monetary means or academic degree, he chose to devote his life to this question, trying to find out what an individual like him could do to improve humanity's condition that large organizations, governments, or private enterprises inherently could not do.

Pursuing this lifelong experiment, Fuller wrote twenty-eight books, coining terms such as "spaceship earth", ephemeralization, and synergetics. He also made a large number of inventions, mostly in the fields of design and architecture, the best-known of which is the geodesic dome.

Late in his life, after working on his concepts for several decades, Fuller had achieved considerable public visibility. He traveled the world giving lectures, and received numerous honorary doctorates. Most of his inventions, however, never made it into production, and he was strongly criticized in most of the fields that he tried to influence (such as architecture), or simply dismissed as a hopeless utopian. Fuller's proponents, on the other hand, claim that his work has not yet received the attention that it deserves.

And the Earthian passengers who know about it, are doing nothing about it. A vast overabundance of this Earthian cosmic energy income is now technically impoundable and distributable to humanity by presently proven technology. We are not allowed to enjoy this primarily because taxhungry government bureaucracies and moneydrunk big business can't figure a way of putting meters between these cosmic energy sources and the Earthian passengers, so nothing is done about it. -Buckminster Fuller, Guinea Pig B

You must choose between making money and making sense "You must choose between making money and making sense. The two are mutually exclusive." - Buckminster Fuller in 1983

Opt for integrity “If humanity does not opt for integrity we are through completely. It is absolutely touch and go. Each one of us could make the difference.” - Buckminster Fuller”[23]

Tesla knew that his power towers and World Grid would greatly accelerate the human condition. Wars, prejudice, racism and hate could become obsolete ideas. There would be no enemy. We are all aboard Spaceship Earth in one global community.

Viktor Schauberger

Viktor Schauberger was the inventor of the first man-made vortex powered "flying saucer"! He also realised by observation what Cartesian Reductionist deduction couldn't... that moving fluids can generate energy by reducing entropy.

His motto was "understand nature, and then copy nature" He was known as the 'Water Wizard'.
Alongside Nicola Tesla and Wilhelm Reich, Schauberger is one of that distingushed company
of pioneers whose work is so unprofitable, so contrary to the perceived norm of 'profit at any cost',
that their major works are bought up and shelved indefinately.

Here is his story...

Born towards the end of the nineteenth century in Austria, Schauberger's teacher was the natural world itself.

In forests, alongside rivers, he studied the life-enhancing energy, which manifests in water or air as vortices.

"Prevailing technology uses the wrong forms of motion. It is based on entropy -
on motions which nature uses to break down and scatter materials. However,
Nature uses a different type of motion for creating order and new growth.
The prevailing explosion-based technology - fuel burning and atom splitting -
fills the world with expanding, heat-generating centrifugal motion," he warned.

Energy production, he believed, could instead use inward-moving, cold-generating
centripetal motion, the same that nature employs to build and enliven substances.
Even hydro-electric power plants, Schauberger said, use a destructive motion -
they pressure water and chop it through turbines. The result is 'dead water'.
He built suction turbines which enliven and invigorate, resulting in clean,
life-giving water downstream.”(http://merlib.org/tag/vortex)

Purple Plates - a high-energy research legacy

There exist curiosity items - Purple Plates - that are directly linked to Tesla's scientific achievements in the use of high-energy emissions. These are the legacy of experience obtained by individuals who enjoyed direct and privileged access to Nikola Tesla's laboratory work. The items are made with materials characterized by naturally orderly lattices - such as aluminium, sand and certain plastics. These lattices are energetically forced into a still more homogenous and regular patterns and molecular characteristics. There is reason of believe that mono-polarity is obtained within these treated solids and that the special states achieved therein are transferable to surrounding media - gaseous, liquid or solid, organic or inorganic.

In the public domain since the 1970s, these items have been applied by tens of thousands of users worldwide. Reported observations include: neutralization of acidific properties of water and other liquids (such as wines), imparting of new properties of gases such as ionisation. The freezing point of liquids are temporarily altered in the proximity to the treated lattices.

The Purple Plates are also known as "energy plates". They were commercially introduced by Ralph Bergstresser, an aide to Nikola Tesla, appointed by President Roosevelt along with Bloyce Fitzgerald, during the last months of his life in the 1940s. After his retirement in the 1970s, Ralph Bergstresser drew upon his lab experience with Tesla to generate a wide range of innovative consumer products using this high-energy technology: refreshers for refrigerators, plant-life boosters, water softeners, water-coolers for air-conditioning, fossil fuel economisers, life energy helpers and even chlorine-free swimming-pool maintenance. Consumer feedback also reported widespread accelerated wound and sore healing, headache and pain relief in the presence of the molecularly restructured materials. These items have been particularly well received by environmentally sensitive materials. Also pet lovers had their say on "miracles".”[20]

LOS ANGELES, CA, USA -- A motion to adopt Global Energy Independence Day, to be held annually on July 10, the birth date of Nikola Tesla, was unanimously approved by the 5-member Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors at their regular meeting held on July 5, 2005.

The Board of Supervisors has now proclaimed July 10, 2005 as “Global Energy Independence Day” throughout the County of Los Angeles.  In so doing they have made history, becoming the first government body anywhere in the world to promote free energy by remembering one of its prime founders.

The purpose of Global Energy Independence Day is to promote alternatives to combustion energy, such as solar, wind, and geothermal, as well as new technologies under development such as cold fusion, zero point energy, and Tesla’s own radiant energy.

The motion was made by Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich, and gave reference to the accomplishments of Nikola Tesla.  "With more than 270 patents awarded to him over the course of his lifetime, Tesla shaped the twentieth century with his invention of the radio, radar, x-ray, AC power, and the induction motor. His legacy is now shaping the twenty-first century with the implementation of his methods of tapping and distributing free energy."

The term "energy independence" has multiple implications.  "Free energy" refers to energy that is free for the taking, such as solar or wind energy, though the devices that tap that energy are not free.  The pursuit of clean, renewable, affordable, reliable energy technologies can relieve us of our dependence on fossil fuels and the problems that source of energy has created, including wars and global warming, threatening the survival of our planet.  Also, devices that tap into free energy can usually be implemented on site, relieving us of our dependence on the power grid and its vulnerabilities.

Leslie Cooper, Assistant to Asst. to the Communications Deputy in the office of Supervisor Antonovich, said that the objective of the commemoration would be "to draw attention to the need to pursue alternative energy technologies as well as to bring attention to the work of Nikola Tesla."

To preserve accurate historical information, Tesla’s only surviving relative, Dr. William Terbo, PhD, founded and maintains the Tesla Memorial Society which supports archives of his work. (ref) The great Serbian-American inventor born in Croatia, Tesla actually has upwards of 700 patents to his name, and is arguably one of the most prolific and influential inventors of all time. Robert Lomas dubbed him "the man who invented the 20th century". (ref) Many others look at him as the "father of free energy", alluding to a more specific definition that does not include more conventional electricity-generation modalities such as solar and wind.

The Global Energy Independence Day has been the brainchild of Dr. Edson André Johnson, a resident of Los Angeles county. He has been pursuing this dream for more than a year, and has received favorable reception from the various government agencies that he has approached, including Governor Linda Lingle of Hawaii. Los Angeles County is now the first to make their concurrence official.

Johnson envisions a time when Global Energy Independence Day will have the same stature as Earth Day.

Los Angeles county will be presenting Johnson with a plaque of recognition on July 12.

The widespread and growing use of the internet, cell-phones, and wireless computer networking in the last decade, coupled with articles like the one above, indicates that we are catching on.

-Synthesis & Vision for the future

Inexpensive, easy global communication for all helps to combat ignorance, and in combating ignorance, easy and inexpensive global communication brings us closer to world peace. Improving our network of communication and energy gains humanity many benefits. There are pitfalls to be aware of. For instance, some may say, “With unlimited power won't people just trash everything even more?” To this I reply that the overall awareness of crucial environmental issues, and of truth, is raised by the connectivity of individuals worldwide, and that with awareness comes a sense of responsibility. Organizations like MoveOn.org, MySpace.com, or any online community raise awareness of issues, be they legislation that deserves support or the chance to hear music or meet people with interesting or inspiring viewpoints from any part of our diverse global culture.

"Only through annihilation of distance in every respect, as the conveyance of intelligence, transport of passengers and supplies and transmission of energy will conditions be brought about some day, insuring permanency of friendly relations. What we now want is closer contact and better understanding between individuals and communities all over the earth, and the elimination of egoism and pride which is always prone to plunge the world into primeval barbarism and strife... Peace can only come as a natural consequence of universal enlightenment...''

From Nikola Tesla, a plea to humanity:

"It is not a dream, it is a simple feat of scientific electrical engineering, only expensive - blind, faint-hearted, doubting world! [...] Humanity is not yet sufficiently advanced to be willingly led by the discoverer's keen searching sense. But who knows? Perhaps it is better in this present world of ours that a revolutionary idea or invention instead of being helped and patted, be hampered and ill-treated in its adolescence - by want of means, by selfish interest, pedantry, stupidity and ignorance; that it be attacked and stifled; that it pass through bitter trials and tribulations, through the strife of commercial existence. So do we get our light. So all that was great in the past was ridiculed, condemned, combatted, suppressed - only to emerge all the more powerfully, all the more triumphantly from the struggle." [7]

Tesla believed that his vision for worldwide wireless free energy and communication contains inevitability; humanity will understand and adopt his innovative ideas when ready. We are catching up with the communications potential inherent in Tesla's system, through the Internet, and especially through the recent rise of wireless connectivity. This being said, the system Tesla envisioned is one giant, world encompassing wireless network, with virtually infinite capacity for channels. All of the power and communications groundwork and infrastructure in the last hundred years (including fiber optics, copper runs, countless hours of work, and millions of dollars in taxpayer funded subsidies) could have been leapfrogged; never done. As it is, all our existing power and communications infrastructure can be connected to a world wireless system with antennae.

¡°Population, when unchecked, increases in a geometrical ratio. Subsistence increases only in an arithmetical ratio. A slight acquaintance with numbers will shew the immensity of the first power in comparison of the second. By that law of our nature which makes food necessary to the life of man, the effects of these two unequal powers must be kept equal. This implies a strong and constantly operating check on population from the difficulty of subsistence.”, page 12
